The Favors is an indie-pop supergroup formed by longtime friends and collaborators FINNEAS (Finneas O’Connell) and Ashe (Ashlyn Rae Willson).

The duo officially announced the project in June 2025, though they had been working on it secretly since late 2023. Their sound is often described as a modern take on 1960s and ’70s pop, drawing heavy inspiration from the "Laurel Canyon" era with rich harmonies and vintage, cinematic production.

Before forming The Favors, FINNEAS and Ashe were already well-known for their individual careers and their 2021 hit duet "Till Forever Falls Apart." According to interviews, the band was born out of a desire to create music without the pressure of their solo identities—Ashe had briefly considered retiring from music due to burnout, and FINNEAS was looking for a more collaborative, "social" recording environment.

They notably teased the band's existence by appearing on the 2025 Austin City Limits lineup under the alias "We Should Make A Band" before officially revealing the name The Favors.
